Courtnie Long, Veterinary Technician

Hello, I’m Courtnie. I have been at Big Valley Animal Hospital for 4 years. I majored in Veterinary Medical Technology and earned my Bachelor of Science Degree from Wilson College.

I am originally from McVeytown. I have a dog (Shaylie), cat (Minnow) and 2 horses (Slick and Sunnie).

My favorite thing about BVAH are the people I work with- they are like my second family.

Outside of work I enjoy doing anything that has to do with my horses, including riding and barrel racing.


Brittany Hawn, CVT

Hi, my name is Brittany. I graduated from Vet Tech Institute in Pittsburgh. I have been a part of the BVAH team since April 2014 working as a CVT.

I enjoy being a surgical technician, phlebotomy work, and ER cases.

I reside in Petersburg, PA. I have one dog, Bubba, and some cows (Red, Rosie, Bruiser, and two other bulls).

When not at work I enjoy working on my family’s dairy farm, hanging out with friends and family, summer bonfires, spending time with my animals, volunteer work, driving my truck on back roads, and watching my niece and little cousins.


Jordan Hileman, Veterinary Technician


Hi, I’m Jordan. I have been at BVAH for one and half years. I graduated from Vet Tech Institute in Pittsburgh.

I am originally from and still reside in Three Springs. I have a Pitbull (Apollo) and a cat (Grey).

My favorite thing about Big Valley Animal Hospital are my co-workers.

Outside of work I enjoy playing basketball and spending time with my friends and family.

 

 

 


Nicole Beachel, Veterinary Technician 

Hi, my name is Nicole. I started working at Big Valley Animal Hospital in April of 2013. I attended Harcum College for a 2-year Veterinary Technician program and also studied in Germany for 1 course.

I live in McClure with my high school sweetheart, John. We have two of the most loving little boys, Jadon and Aden. We also have 1 dog (Chloe Mae), 3 horses (Maggie, Skidd, Triple T), some chickens, and a couple of barn cats.

My favorite thing about working at BVAH is the devotion for one another, the compassion to our animals, and that we are the most down to earth clinic clients could ask for.

Outside of work I enjoy family time, shopping, DIY projects, and horse riding events. I also enjoy running my own small business “Cole Cutts” which includes pet grooming, sitting, and stay-n-play.


 


Kayla Gill, Veterinary Technician 

Hello, my name is Kayla. I have been at Big Valley Animal Hospital for 3 years. I graduated from Harcum College with an Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology.

I currently live in Beavertown, PA. I have 2 cats (Junior and Burnard).

My favorite thing about BVAH is that we provide the best care we can for our patients/clients. I also love the yummy treats we receive our amazing clients and our boss Julie!

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend and his kids, hanging out with friends, riding my jeep, shopping, and reading.

 


Elizabeth Fleming, Veterinary Assistant


Hi, my name is Elizabeth. I have been at Big Valley Animal Hospital for 2 years. I graduated from Delaware Valley University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Large Animal Science.

I currently live in Allensville, PA. I have 2 horses (Chestnut and Baby), a Golden Retriever (Sheba- whom I rescued from BVAH), 5 barn cats (Callie, Grizzly, Yoda, Mr. T, and Squirt), and 6 sheep.

My favorite thing about BVAH is that we are all like family here- my co-workers and bosses are all so nice to work with. I also love that I get to help people and their pets which is very important to me.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend Tyler, being outside, riding horses, hanging out with friends, and watching movies.


Brittany Krepps, Veterinary Assistant

Hello, I’m Brittany. I have been at Big Valley Animal Hospital for 2 years. I graduated from Liberty University with an Associates Degree in Business.

I grew up on a dairy farm and currently reside in Belleville with my husband Wade. We have 3 cats (Lily, Chainsaw, and Hiccup), and a Pomeranian (Auto).

My favorite things about BVAH are feeling like I’m able to help make a difference for animals. I also have great co-workers and bosses.

Outside of work I enjoy going to the gym, flying in helicopters with my husband, traveling, spending time with friends and family, and being active in my church.

 


Kendra Semple,Veterinary Technician

Hi, I’m Kendra. I started working at Big Valley Animal Hospital in May of 2017. I graduated from YTI Career Institute.

I currently reside in Three Springs with my boyfriend (Lex) and our son (Henry). We also have a cat (Molly) and a bunny (Toodles).

My favorite part about BVAH is getting to meet the different clients and their animals. When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time with family and friends, helping my sister and cousins with livestock projects, gardening, and crocheting.

 

 


Audrey Brumbelow, Veterinary Assistant

Hello, my name is Audrey. I started working at BVAH in September of 2017. I’m currently enrolled at Penn State pursing a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science.

I’m originally from Needville, TX and currently reside in Spring Mills with my boyfriend, Chris. We have 1 dog (Remington) and 3 ferrets (Winchester, Benelli, and Ruger).

My favorite thing about BVAH is my co-workers. They are enjoyable to be around and they do everything they can to provide the best environment and care for each patient. I absolutely love my job and being a part of the BVAH family.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend & pets, pheasant hunting with my dog, fishing, and going to country concerts.
