Anthony Potorti, DVM
Hello, I’m Dr. Potorti. I started the practice 31 years ago with my wife, Julie. I attended West Virginia University and then earned my veterinary degree from The Ohio State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. I was raised a West Virginia farm boy before moving to Pennsylvania.
My favorite things about Big Valley Animal Hospital are the clients who have become great friends in my 31 years in Mifflin County. I also love that people feel like part of our family when they visit our practice. We respect and appreciate the confidence they place with us in taking care of their animals. Every patient and client is important to me.
I enjoy all aspects of practice but especially enjoy soft tissue surgeries.
I live in Reedsville with my wife, Julie. We have two daughters, Mandy and Kristi, and a son Matthew.
Outside of work I enjoy farming, driving my tractor, and feeding my farm animals. We have a little rescue mutt (Daisy) , a Standard Poodle (Winston), a mini Goldendoodle (Annie), sheep, Jersey and Beef cows, and too many cats to count.
Kristi Potorti (Bedelyon), DVM
Hi, I’m Dr. Kristi. I began practicing as a veterinarian at BVAH in May 2016 after earning my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University, College of Veterinary Medicine.
My favorite aspects of BVAH are forming relationships with clients and being able to be there for them in happy times such as first puppy visits, and the hard times of losing a beloved pet and family member. My animals are my world so I feel I can very much connect and relate to my clients who show that same amount of love towards their pets.
I have a strong interest Soft Tissue Surgery and Internal Medicine.
I live in Reedsville with my husband (Tyler), daughter (Vivian), and our herd of animals. We have 5 cats and 7 little rescue dogs.
When I am not working I enjoy spending time at home relaxing with my family, reading, and hanging out by the pool in the summer time.
Jaden Dickinson, DVM
Hi, I’m Dr. Jaden Dickinson. I started at BVAH in May of 2020. I graduated from The Ohio State University, College of Veterinary Medicine.
I am originally from Skowhegan, Maine. I currently have no animals, but I am looking for a dog.
My favorite aspects about BVAH is the laidback family atmosphere that makes working fun and joyful. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with family & friends and anything outdoors (hiking, biking, sports).
